Saturday August 9, 2008~ Bone Lake Social Boat Party
Thirty six people attended a Boat party via 4 pontoons tied together on a fabulous summer evening. We had appetizers, dessert and lots of great fellowship. More pictures are available on the home page. If interested in attending future events, please contact one of the Social Committee members.
An open invitation has been issued for several years for adults on Bone Lake to gather for the sole purpose of meeting other people on the lake. All adults on the lake are welcome. We usually have a get-together about 4 times a year. There is no commitment. People come when they are interested and available. Occasionally, everyone gathers together in one spot for a party, but usually, we spread out into various homes for a more intimate time of getting to know one another. People who attend each bring food to share and their own beverage to drink. Different people take turns hosting the event, but there is no obligation to host. It has been fun getting to know people this way. It is also interesting to be invited inside a variety of places on the lake and to see so many beautiful views of the lake. We have set aside the following dates for 2008.
