For 2008, in addition to using volunteers on CBCW activity, we will pay one or two people to supplement the volunteer time at the public landings.
Lake Monitoring
Look for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), Track the spread of Curly Leaf Pondweed
Inventory total Aquatic plant life, Lake chemistry and sechi disk measurementsTraining tools provided: Book (Through The Looking Glass), Placards depicting various Aquatic plants. Hands on aquatic plant identification with lake samples.

- Purchased two EWM Buoys in 2007
- In 2008, establish steps to control/eradicate EWM, if found,
- Add steps for other new invasives in 2009 and beyond

- 50% cost share with DNR
- Grant - $28k total with DNR paying up to $14k
- $8 hour for Bone Lake volunteers in-kind service
- DNR paid expenses – basically all out of pocket expenses
